About Friends of Broadway Lake

Our Mission

 Our mission is to collect areas of common concern and provide recommended actions to Anderson County management which will improve, protect, and preserve Broadway Lake and the surrounding area.


To foster community health and partnership among residents and visitors of Broadway Lake.

Why we love Broadway Lake: Activities!

Our beautiful lake has so much potential for all types of different activities!

Fishing on Broadway Lake

Broadway lake is a hidden gem among local fishermen, with the majority of people heading over to nearby Hartwell, Broadway Lake offers a quieter and more relaxing day of fishing.
​

Try your luck and you're likely to find Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Bream, and Catfish.

We did say golfing right?

Located on the shores of Broadway Lake, is Pine Lake Golf Course, "a tree-lined, 18-hole course with bermudagrass greens and 43 bunkers. Designed by Russell Breeden, 1962." Which host's a local favorite restaurant,  Raines on Broadway.

Every year the Friends of Broadway Lake hosts Family Day. Everyone in the community is welcome to join us at McFalls Landing for a day of fun for the entire family. 


Activities include 

  • A show by professional water skiers
  • Crafts for kids
  • Cardboard boat races for charities and individuals
  • and more!
